La Marronaia is a pretty farm estate just 1.2 miles north of the magnificent hilltop town of San Gimignano. The estate is made up of a beautiful old farmhouse surrounded by 12 acres of vineyards and olive groves. The central part of the farmhouse was once an ancient sighting tower that dates back to 1200 and later it belonged to a monastery. The building was carefully restored between 2001 and 2003 to maintain many of its original features.

The farmhouse has been divided into four apartments, three of which we have available to let. The fourth is occupied by the friendly owners who live quietly on the first floor in the central part of the farmhouse. The house is surrounded by grassy garden areas and there is a swimming pool in the garden for shared use (12m x 6m).

The properties are all tastefully furnished in modern rustic style and each is painted in a different colour and named accordingly. Each property has its own garden area for eating out of doors and there is a washing machine for shared use.

Note: We feel that you would be well placed here for a relaxing holiday and for touring all the sights of central Tuscany. Don't miss a visit to San Gimignano with its beautiful towers and a variety of pretty shops and restaurants.

VERDE
Property Ref. 630 - Sleeps 4

Entrance from its own garden area into a spacious sitting/dining room with open kitchen, furnished with sofa, dining table, fireplace and satellite TV. The kitchen has two sinks, large fridge/freezer, hob with four gas rings, electric oven, dishwasher and electric coffee maker. Wooden staircase leads up to a lovely open galleried double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower, basin, wc). Door from the sitting room leads to the second double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower, basin, bidet and wc). This bedroom also has a door that leads out to the front of the house. There are terracotta floors and beamed ceilings throughout. Central heating. Cot available on request.

BLU
Property Ref. 631 - Sleeps 2+2

Next door to Verde. The accommodation is all on the ground floor. Entrance from the garden into sitting/dining room and kitchen. The sitting/dining area has double sofa bed (for the +2), satellite TV and marble dining table. Good fitted kitchen has hob with four gas rings, small electric oven, fridge/freezer and electric coffee maker. A beautiful arch leads to a small hall which gives access to a double bedroom and a modern bathroom with shower, basin, bidet and wc. The bedroom has windows on two sides and a door that leads outside. Terracotta floors and beamed ceilings throughout. Central heating. Cot available on request.

GIALLO
Property Ref. 632 - Sleeps 2+2

Lovely ground floor apartment with entrance doors on two sides. Good sized sitting/dining room with double sofa bed (for the +2), dining table and satellite TV. Fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, hob with four gas rings, microwave, dishwasher and electric coffee maker. Lovely double bedroom with door that leads out to the garden. En-suite bathroom with shower, basin and wc. Terracotta floors and beamed ceilings throughout. Central heating. Cot available on request.

These prices are inclusive of linen, towels, power, welcome pack and final clean. Heating, if used, is 2.50 Euros per hour. Cot available free - please request. Security deposit 150 Euros taken on arrival.

 

Additional Information At all properties towels are included with the linen. Please ask for the prices for Christmas if not stated. The Security deposit may be paid in the Sterling equivalent. Changeovers - bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise stated (in low season changeover days can be more flexible - please ask). Arrivals are between 4pm and 7pm. Departure is by 10am. All properties are cleaned after your departure, but we do ask clients to leave their accommodation as they found it.
