This wine and olive oil producing farm is in a wonderful setting only 2½ miles from Lucca. The farm estate consists of an old, very well kept villa where the owners live and Casa Carlotta and another farmhouse about ¾ of a mile away from the main house and Casa Carlotta, which is called Alle Piane di Villa Serena Property Ref. 340.

Casa Carlotta is divided into two portions with one side of the building being available for letting and the other lived in by the owner. Around Casa Carlotta and the owners' house are attractive gardens from where there are views across the vineyards and an above ground swimming pool. Also on the estate the owners have created a 'park' where guests can walk or relax. The 12 hectare estate consists of vines and olive groves together with fruit orchards and vegetables which clients can purchase in season.

The area around Cerasomma is ideal for touring with the A11 road close by making this a handy location for visits to Siena, Pisa, Florence and the coast (on occasion a slight hum may be heard from the road if you are outside the property). The historic town of Lucca, with its walled city and winding pedestrianised streets, is just over 2 miles away, whilst the beautiful and dramatic Garfagnana Mountains are within easy driving distance. Restaurants in the mountains are famous for their wonderful food at very reasonable prices.

Notes: The estate extends to 30 acres covered in woodland and vineyards, with paths where you can walk. At the top of the hill there are views to Lucca and the valley below.

Casa Carlotta is a portion of a beautiful character farmhouse. Large outside patio for outside dining also has a pizza oven. Doors lead into the sitting/dining room and kitchen area.

The living area has a Tuscan fireplace. Large fitted kitchen with breakfast table, gas hob, electric oven and dishwasher. Bathroom with shower cubicle, basin, bidet and wc. Two bedrooms - one double and one twin.

Teracotta floors and beamed ceilings add to the character feel and the house is tastefully furnished in rustic style with many personal touches. Central heating for out of season lets. Colour TV with satellite. Wi-Fi internet access available.
