Antica Sosta lies on the edge of the tiny hilltop village of Renai just over two miles from Castelfiorentino and very well placed for visits to all parts of central Tuscany - Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and Pisa are not to be missed. The property - a detached barn - has been carefully renovated, retaining many character features and there are beautiful views over the surrounding vineyard and olive grove covered hills from the house and garden.

The village of Renai has a few houses and a restaurant and there is another restaurant less than a mile away. Castelfiorentino caters for all your daily needs - a large well stocked supermarket and all the local shops you could require. The owners are a delightful local couple who live in the village - they will make you very welcome and will help you to have an unforgettable holiday. Tuscan dinners and home-made pizza can be taken by arrangement.

The large rear garden at Antica Sosta has ample grassy areas and olive trees. Swimming pool (10m x 5m), barbecue, garden and poolside furniture.

Horse riding can be arranged in the area and there are two golf courses nearby - 18 holes at Castelfalfi and 9 holes at S. Miniato.

Notes: We feel sure that Antica Sosta will be the venue for many happy holidays. This is a well-presented property with a good quality feel, new bathrooms and a good kitchen adding to your holiday enjoyment. The village location is very pleasant with a few other properties around adding to the flavour of Italian life in this little rural farming community.

There are two ground floor entrances at the front - one into the hallway and the other into the tastefully furnished sitting/dining room (TV with satellite, stereo set). A further door leads to the back garden. An archway leads through to the well equipped kitchen with its stone Tuscan sink, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven, big fridge/freezer and marble worktops. A kitchen door opens onto the outside terrace (where you can eat out of doors), and to the garden.

Ground floor double bedroom with bathroom (shower, basin, bidet and wc). Small laundry room. Stairs from the hall lead to three upstairs double bedrooms and one twin and two bathrooms (one with bath, basin, bidet and wc; one with shower, basin, bidet and wc). Each room is decorated in a different colour and one double room can have an extra single bed on request.

There are views from the bedrooms variously of the garden and pool or to the front of the property.

Furnishings are comfortable in antique rustic style with terracotta floors throughout and beams to the upper floor. Central heating. Cot available on request.
