Property Location

 

Amarrante, formally a monastery, is a beautiful old farmhouse which has been carefully restored and stands on the edge of a small cluster of stone farmhouses approximately 1.5 miles from the hilltop village of Montaione.

From the garden there are outstanding views to the village of Montaione and to the surrounding countryside. The village has a good supermarket, two banks, a pharmacy, several shops, bars and good restaurants. Horse riding and tennis courts are available nearby and there is a good golf course with 18 holes at Castelfalfi approximately 7miles away.

This property is well placed for touring in central Tuscany - San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Florence and Siena are all within easy driving distance. There is a train station in Castelfiorentino.

There is a delightful well kept lawned garden with shrubs and trees, table tennis, barbecue and a good swimming pool for shared use (8m x 5m) with sun beds. Two mountain bikes are available for guests. There is a laundry with a washing machine for shared use. Most mornings the local baker passes and it will be a great opportunity for you to purchase fresh Italian bread. The caring owners live in nearby Montaione and they will do everything to make sure you have a most enjoyable stay.

The farmhouse has been carefully divided into three individual properties and finished to a very good standard in typical Tuscan style with beautiful terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. Furnishings are comfortable and tasteful in rustic style with some beautiful antique pieces and much attention to detail. Central heating is available if required. A cot can be supplied on request.

BOUGANVILLE
Property Ref. 730 - Sleeps 4+2

The accommodation is on two floors. Six stairs lead to a lovely terrace for outdoor eating with good views. From the terrace there is an entrance into a pretty sitting room with a double sofa bed, two armchairs (satellite TV). An archway leads into a spacious dining kitchen with fireplace. The kitchen has a big fridge/freezer, 4 gas rings, small electric oven and an electric coffee maker. From the sitting room a stone staircase leads upstairs to the bedrooms. A good spacious double room and a twin room. Good modern bathroom with shower, basin, bidet and wc.

LIMONAIA
Property Ref. 731 - Sleeps 4+2

The accommodation is on the first and second floor. Entrance into the sitting room with two sofas, one of which is a single sofa bed. An arch leads through to a spacious dining room/kitchen with a picturesque fireplace (satellite TV). The kitchen area is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, hob with 4 gas rings, small electric oven and electric coffee maker. From the sitting room terracotta stairs lead up to the second floor. There are two bedrooms, one double, the other a twin, and a good modern bathroom with shower, basin, bidet and wc. A door from the sitting room leads to a pretty terrace for eating outdoors where there are good views to the garden and the pool.

LA STALLA
Property Ref. 732 - Sleeps 2+1

A lovely ground floor apartment with its entrance to the side of the house. It consists of a dining room/kitchen with stone walls which give the property a unique character. There is a sofa, a fireplace and satellite TV. The fitted kitchen has fridge/freezer, hob with 4 gas rings, small electric oven and electric coffee maker. There is a double bedroom. An extra bed for a child is available on request. Modern bathroom with shower, basin, bidet and wc. Outside area with garden furniture.

These prices are inclusive of linen, towels, power, welcome pack and final clean. Heating, if used, is by meter reading. Maid service on request 10 Euros per hour. Security deposit 150 Euros taken on arrival.

 

Additional Information
  1. At all properties towels are included with the linen.
  2. Please ask for the prices for Christmas if not stated.
  3. The Security deposit may be paid in the Sterling equivalent.
  4. Changeovers - bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise stated (in low season changeover days can be more flexible - please ask). Arrivals are between 4pm and 7pm. Departure is by 10am. All properties are cleaned after your departure, but we do ask clients to leave their accommodation as they found it.
