This wine and olive oil producing farm is in a wonderful setting only 2½ miles from Lucca. The whole farm estate consists of a very old, very well-kept villa, another farmhouse called Casa Carlotta which is also let by Tuscan Holidays (Property Ref. 50) and Alle Piane di Villa Serena which is situated about ¾ of a mile away from the main villa and Casa Carlotta.

Alle Piane is in a sunny position surrounded by woodland. Also on the estate the owners have created a 'park' where guests can walk or relax. The 12 hectare estate consists of vines and olive groves together with fruit orchards and vegetables which clients can purchase in season.

The property has a private swimming pool (12m x 6m and 1.5m - 2.5m deep) which has an electric cover. (Pool is generally open from June - September. Please check if your booking falls out of this season.)

The area around Cerasomma is ideal for touring and visits to Siena, Pisa, Florence and the coast are not to be missed. The historic town of Lucca, with its walled city and winding pedestrianised streets, is only a few kilometres distant whilst the beautiful and dramatic Garfagnana Mountains are within easy driving distance. Restaurants in the mountains are famous for their wonderful food at very reasonable prices. On request the owners will prepare pizza or a barbecue.

Notes: The estate extends to 30 acres covered in woodland and vineyards, with paths where you can walk. At the top of the hill there are views to Lucca and the valley below.

There is wireless internet access which will enable you to use your own device. (This access may be intermittent and therefore, we cannot guarantee that it will be available for all/part of your stay.)

ALLE PIANE DI VILLA SERENA
Property Ref. 340 - Sleeps 2

This lovely property is formed from part of a beautiful house built in mellow stone set peacefully, high up on a hill. The rest of the house is used by the owners who are a friendly young couple. Alle Piane has its own large and sunny terrace with garden furniture, a built-in barbeque and a sink.

Door from the terrace gives direct access to the tastefully furnished sitting/dining room (double sofa bed). Fitted kitchen area with gas hob, electric oven and fridge freezer. Good tiled bathroom with hip bath, shower, basin, bidet and wc. Spiral staircase leads out of the sitting room up to the galleried bedroom with a double bed. Door leads onto a second terrace.

Terracotta floors and beamed ceilings complete the picture and there is central heating if required. Colour TV with satellite. A large storage area could be ideal for keeping bicycles.
