"Just a quick note to thank you for arranging the late-booking holiday for my wife, granddaughter and myself. The villa (Fattoria Vallorsi), car-hire etc. were all perfect and, as last time, I am impressed with the great value and personal service you offer." (October 2008)
"Hi Tracey, we all had yet another fantastic holiday at Alle Piane and we would highly recommend the place to anyone!! Many thanks for organising our holidays for the last 3 years." (September 2008)
"I just wanted to write and say how much we enjoyed our holiday at the Villa Belvedere. We all had a fantastic time; the house, Senora Bennucci, the area... We all loved every minute of it...everyone was amazed to find such a lovely traditional home with so much space still available and affordable. Thank you for your time and patience and we will certainly use your services again next time we consider Tuscany for our holidays!" (August 2008)
"Both my wife and I don't know quite how you do it. Every property of yours we've stayed at has been, in its own way, quite delightful (although superb is probably a better choice of words). San Martino was no exception.. Thank you for all your help and for having such a great place to stay. It was what holidays are all about." (August 2008)
"This is just a quick note to let you know how much my family and I enjoyed our holiday at Possesso Uzzano. The accommodations lacked nothing (except perhaps air-conditioning!) and were larger than expected and extremely well equipped. Our hosts were delightful and very helpful. There was even a laundry facility on site - which I don t think your web site mentions, but was very much appreciated. Your company too was a delight to deal with, and we shall not hesitate to use you again." (July 2008)
"Just a note to say what a wonderful time we had at Gelsomino, Poggio del Melograno. The apartment exceeded our expectations - wonderful views, Paola has obviously taken great care and attention to make the apartments homely, fabulous pool, such a wonderful location. We will be back! Great organisation from you guys. Many thanks." (June 2008)
"I have to say the accommodation (San Torpe) at Fattoria Vallorsi was outstanding as was the hospitality of the owners. The complex itself was beautifully kept and was in a great location. Our kids absolutely loved the swimming pool as well as the little slide and swing. The pictures and the description on the web site do not do the place justice. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Tuscany and will more than likely return there." (June 2008)
"What a lovely place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Alleluja...the family were so very kind and helpful...sightseeing was fantastic and evenings so relaxed. Best Holiday for a long time." (June 2008)
"I just wanted to let you know what a lovely week we had at Vallorsi. The accommodation was of a high standard and much better than we had been expecting, and the grounds and pool were fantastic. They were kept so well by the lovely owners, who were very kind to us over the week's holiday. Our three children all had a fantastic time in the pool. It is definitely a holiday we would like to do again. Thanks also for the information you provided for us before we left, it proved very useful. Many thanks, I look forward to being in touch in the future about our next holiday!" (May 2008)
"We have just returned from two weeks with Tuscan Holidays to Montespertoli staying at Le Ginestruzze. The Bartoli family were wonderful and made our stay very memorable. The villa was everything we had hoped it would be and we will definitely return there." (August 2006)
"We have just returned from two marvellous weeks at La Marronaia. Quite simply there are not enough superlatives to describe the time we spent there. It was quite lovely, not only the property but also, of course, the location. It is impossible to describe properly (or even adequately) the tranquillity - a perfect place to unwind and forget the stresses of living in the UK. The two weeks were nowhere near long enough. Starting to plan 2007 now so would welcome the new brochure just as soon as it's available. Thanks for having a wonderful property and for allowing us to experience it." (July/August 2006)
"I would like to thank you all at Tuscan Holidays for a fantastic holiday and an introduction to a most beautiful part of the world. The people, the scenery, the food and wine and the accommodation (Podere San Giovanni) were all wonderful. What an excellent job it must be helping people discover such a place. Thank you to you as well for all the help you gave us, now we are just looking for somewhere to buy out there! Thanks again." (June 2006)
"We will certainly book again with you and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tuscan Holidays to anyone. Thank you for such a fantastic, memorable holiday and the professional service given by your company."
"Thank you all so much. Not only was the villa even better than the description, but also all the arrangements you had made were perfect."
"I have to say that your brochure and your website are wonderfully user-friendly and streets above any of the competition we looked at. All three generations of our family had a happy and memorable time and we'd like to thank you for all your help with the arrangements."
"I write to thank you for organising a memorable and glorious vacation. I would like to place on record our complete satisfaction and delight at having found this marvellous 'home'."
"We have had one of the best holidays we have ever had. Your self catering accommodation was superb."
"The office staff were both helpful and informative, everything was well organised and professional. The actual accommodation was superb and lived up to your description."
Tuscan Holidays is an independent agency who has been offering quality Tuscany villas to rent for over 18 years. We are a family-run business with an excellent team and as such are able to offer you the personal and individual attention that your holiday deserves. Our self catering properties and their owners are all well-known to us. We pride ourselves on our local knowledge and that we are able to answer questions you may have with regards to a property or maybe just local information about the surrounding area. The holiday accommodation we offer is of a good to very high standard and comfortably furnished in typical Italian style.
We deal directly with our property owners or their authorised representatives, on behalf of whom we act as agents; and you deal directly with us, thus ensuring the best possible value for money. We also have our own representatives living in Tuscany who will be available to you during your stay should the need occur.
Tuscan Holidays take the effort out of booking. Wherever you decide to stay and whatever your requirements, be it a family villa holiday, special celebration or a romantic break for two, you can be assured of our first class and friendly service.
Tuscany has something for everyone - stunning scenery with glorious colours, culture, delicious food and wine, great shopping and beaches - it really is the perfect holiday destination.
All our self catering holiday properties are in, or on the fringes of, that most beautiful area of Tuscany - Chianti - and a good number of these are actually in working vineyards where the owners will welcome you with warm hospitality. There can be few things to compare with the pleasure of watching the sun set drinking wine which has been lovingly made from the grapes you see in the fields around!
Days can be filled with soaking up some of the world's most dazzling works of art by Da Vinci, Michelangelo and Botticelli, by taking a tour to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa or visiting the magnificent Duomo in Florence, the enormous domed church that dominates the skyline. A trip to the many-towered town of San Gimignano is a must for its majestic towers and panoramic views, as is the stunning spectacle of the Palio in Siena - a daring bareback horse race held in July and August.
Whilst there are many treasures to experience in the region's impressive collection of museums and galleries, it is also easy to get off the beaten track into the Tuscan countryside to indulge in some of the excellent local food and wine.
Treasures can also be found in the numerous boutiques and specialist shops. There is nothing like carrying home a pair of shoes made the way only the Italians know how! A must-do is The Mall, a discount designer shopping centre south of Florence where those well-known labels abound!

"Classic Tuscany...for the price of a wet weekend in Blackpool?"
"It can be done: the trick is to go outside peak season and choose your accommodation carefully. Take La Sughera - two Tuscan farmhouses, on a 1,000 acre wine estate 20 miles from Pisa, that have been converted into five apartments. We know, that word makes the heart sink, but these are wonderful, full of charm and smoky smells from the open fireplaces, with thick stone walls, ancient tiled floors, and shuttered windows opening onto an indecently curvy vista of rolling vine-clad hills. The magnificence of Florence, Lucca and Siena is an easy drive away, you can taste the estate's excellent wines, and the pool is terrific."

Fattoria Vallorsi, Tuscany
"Marooned in rolling countryside - woods and vineyards - this lovely fattoria sits on an estate that produces 200,000 bottles of wine a year, so it's only right that you should knock back one or two of them while the kids splash in the shared pool, play on the swings and mess around on the wide lawns.
Accommodation is in the old farmhouse, neatly converted into four roomy, well-furnished apartments, and the top floor of the winery, which has two more. There's a shared barbecue, and bike hire is available, with tennis nearby, and lovely Lucca 25 miles down the road."
The Pegler family went to Fattoria Vallorsi
Michael, Tracy, Jessica, 4, and Erin, 2, loved the simple life in Tuscany. "For us, it's got everything," says Michael. "Great rural location, real character, a terrific pool and - as it's a working estate - an awful lot of very good wine. There are loads of kids there during the school holidays, and our two made friends easily. There's a great little family-friendly pizzeria just down the road, and the thermal baths at Casciana Terme: they're at body temperature, and Jessica and Erin liked floating about in them in their armbands. There aren't many places that are so beautiful and good for kids, too. It's special."

The Sunday Times Travel Section, December 18th 2005 - Vincent Crump chose Santo Pietro as his holiday highlight of 2005.
Villa Santo Pietro, Tuscany
"My dream is to restore a tumbledown Tuscan farmhouse as a secret retreat, like they do on the telly. It will be bare bricks and beams, with its own little orchard, swallows nesting in the barn and a pool overlooking time-battered hill towns spiked with poplars and castles. But why bother, when you can borrow Peter and Sue Jackson's place for £110 a head? The couple run Tuscan Holidays, and Santo Pietro is their own personal labour of love. We rolled up there to find wine chilling, sunhats on pegs, a plate of cherries "from next door's garden", even a photo album recording the restoration, so you can pretend you did the work yourself."
